Words alone cannot describe your cultural travel experiences with us.

This is a Cuba Educational and Cultural Photo Tour, with a focus on using your camera gear to capture your cultural and educational experiences, with a particular emphasis on people, scenic and panoramic landscapes and environmental portrait photography. Several blocks of time in this ambitious yet exhilarating and well-managed itinerary are devoted to image capture of people, places and things and on-the-fly critiquing with your leader. Group members will engage with the Cuban people going about their daily lives and in specially-selected locations in and around Havana, Valle de Viñales, Playas del Este (beach), and Varadero (beach.)

The Cuba photo program is geared toward directly experiencing the people and activity, seeing history-making changes taking place, learning history, and enjoying the beauty all around you while pursuing your craft or hobby in photography.

The program is open to photographers of all levels. We are traveling only under US license Category 6B (see Travel Affidavit) for Cuba cultural-educational exchanges, NOT TOURISM that still is not permitted to date for US passport holders, or for any COMMERCIAL PURPOSES, such as commercial photography or journalism. No additional special events or excursions will be permitted outside of the program listed below and in any subsequent published itineraries. Contact your photography leaders regarding photography-related questions on program content.

David Noyes

David Noyes of David Noyes Studio and David Noyes Travels (www.noyestravels.com) will provide guidance and informal instruction throughout your daily cultural-educational exchange activities, primarily geared toward photography.  This will be the third visit to Cuba for David, a consummate world traveler and highly-acclaimed and awarded travel writer who has conducted photography workshops worldwide for several years. David participated in his first photo program in Cuba in the fall of 2016, and he will have traveled there a few more times prior to taking this group.  Examples of his acute eye for Cuba life on these pages will provide a taste of his photography signature style.
